Deloitte created the “Business Confidence Index” in 1997 with the aim of making available accurate and timely information on the country’s economy and economic situation”.

The BCI enables us to measure the business sector’s perception of the current economical situation based on a monthly survey of top executives among French most important companies.

The BCI survey also covers matters of importance to the business sector, including:

Monthly inflation figures and interest rates
Performance and expectations on sales figures and foreign investment
Analysis of the labor supply and demand
Topics of current interest concerning the country’s political, economic and social situation

Release schedule: 6:45 (GMT); monthly, end of every month
